Translation of the Minister of Labour Decree No. 75 of 2026
The Minister of Labour Decree No. 75 of 2026 sets rules on work restrictions for women during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The Decree identifies specific chemical, physical, biological, and engineering risks that may affect female workers, their reproductive health, fetuses, or children.
This translation of the Minister of Labour Decree No. 75 of 2026 provides an English version of the determination of the types of work and circumstances in which women may not be employed, for the protection of maternity or for addressing occupational safety and health risks. It also sets out provisions concerning night work, alternative daytime work, workplace safety measures, transportation, and the procedures employers must follow when employing women at night.
The Minister of Labour Decree No. 75 of 2026 further provides that women may be employed in certain otherwise restricted occupations outside periods of pregnancy and breastfeeding, provided that applicable occupational safety and health requirements and workplace safety measures are satisfied.
This English version of the determination of the types of work and circumstances in which women may not be employed, for the protection of maternity or for addressing occupational safety and health risks is intended to provide an accessible reference to the Decree’s provisions.
