Bookkeeping Manager

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax projects, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee the use of the e-Invoice portal and ensure accurate and timely submission of electronic invoices.
• Advanced utilization of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial forecasting, and report generation.
• Develop and implement tax strategies and plans.
• Mentor and supervise tax team members, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate tax strategies with overall business operations.
• Provide expert advice on tax matters.
• Ensure the preparation and review of tax calculations, estimates, and reports accuracy.
• Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
• Stay updated on new tax policies and legislation that may affect the business.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in tax management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in the e-Invoice portal and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to strategize and solve problems effectively.
