Accounting Manager

Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting organizational financial goals,manages month-end and year-end close processes, and collaborates with other departments to ensure the integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Review account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analyses.
Implement internal controls, support audits, ensure regulatory compliance.
Assist in budgets and forecasts, analyze trends and variances.
Streamline accounting processes, enhance accounting systems, support digital initiatives.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is a plus.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Good communication and interpersonal abilities.rn
