Mohamed is a partner in Andersen Egypt who has over 30 years of professional experience providing tax advisory, accounting, tax compliance and reporting services for both domestic and multinational enterprises.
Specifically, Mohamed provides direct and indirect tax services to multinational and local corporations as well as foreign joint ventures operating in Egypt. He is also focused on VAT advisory, both for resident and non-resident entities, and is capable of providing evaluation on VAT burden and compliance requirements. Mohamed’s experience also includes awareness on issues of transnational taxation, such as double taxation agreements and OECD.
Mohamed’s experience is derived from serving a broad range of Egypt’s economic sectors with a special emphasis on hospitality, manufacturing and finance. Mohamed has extensive experience in corporate tax restructuring and tax planning, as well as in identifying risk areas related to tax, and providing effective alternatives to minimize clients’ tax exposure and risks.
Mohamed has also participated in the preparation of transfer pricing projects for companies operating in a range of sectors, in addition to carrying our tax due diligence for companies undergoing mergers and acquisitions, and IPOs.
