Lena Hamdi is a Partner at Andersen in Egypt. She has extensive experience providing market entry strategies and consolidated legal and business advise to companies, and in particular start-ups.
Lena’s experience includes intellectual property registration and protection (not limited to filing and renewing applications, defending patents & trademarks before the relevant authorities, and handling appeal processes). Lena also works with technology companies to ensure full compliance with local and international cyber security and data protection laws. Lena is also capable of providing GDPR impact assessments for technology companies, in accordance with EU, US and Egyptian Laws.
Lena also has experience with negotiating, drafting and executing franchise agreements, disclosure documents, lease agreements for franchise premises, as well as drafting and negotiating commercial agency and distribution agreements.

Lena Hamdi was also appointed to the Andersen Global Board of Directors in 2018 in her position as Co-Managing Partner of Andersen’s Middle East offices.
