Valuation Services Director

Job Summary

The Valuation Services Director shall be responsible for handling all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services in valuations and developing and managing staff. The Valuation Services Director will be working closely and reporting to the Senior Partner/Transaction Advisory Services Leader and plays a key role in client management and practice development.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • MBA, CVA, CBA or CFA designation is a must.
  • 10 – 15 years business valuation experience (financial reporting, tax, transactional) with a Big 4, or multinational valuation/corporate finance firms.
  • Demonstrated experience in fair value measurements for financial reporting purposes (e.g., ASC 805, ASC 350, ASC 718, IVS..etc)
  • High level of proficiency with customary valuation methodologies including DCF analysis and comparable company/precedent transaction multiples and assets-based valuation.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of conducting intangible assets valuation including PPA.
  • Ability to critically analyze financial information and communicate assumptions effectively.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple client engagements, and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
  • Strong financial modeling skills using moderate to sophisticated excel based models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal oral and written communication skills. Arabic and English is a must.
  • Work with senior management to resolve technical issues and promote best practices for the valuation group.
  • Supervise and mentor staff on analyses, reports and presentations
